Anne Morddel

Anne Morddel worked in libraries and archives in her native California, then in Europe, South America, the Middle East and Africa. She has written The French Genealogy Blog for more than fifteen years, producing nearly one thousand posts about the many aspects of French genealogical research. Researching in French archives led her to the discovery of some 1500 American merchant seamen held prisoner in Napoleonic France.
